Blanket and Candy Drive with Judi’s Place for Kids
About this event
Appalachian Ground Control Youth Jiu-Jitsu is proud to be partnering with Judi’s Place for Kids for a special community service project.
We will be holding a Blanket and Candy Drive, and our students and parents will also have the opportunity to help volunteers put together treat bags for children who have experienced abuse.
For the treat bag project, we need confirmed parent and student sign-ups so we know exactly how many people will be participating. Our tentative date is October 10, 2026.
Please consider being a part of this.
Jiu-Jitsu is about more than what happens on the mats. We want to teach our kids about discipline, respect, confidence, and also the importance of helping people who need it.
This is an opportunity for our students to see firsthand that giving back to their community is the right thing to do — and that helping others can be one of the most rewarding things they ever do.
Let’s show up for these kids and make a difference together.
More information about blanket and candy donations will be posted here.
